Romanesque Church of Our Lady of the Nativity

Enjoy the discovery of this Romanesque Church dedicated to Our Lady of the Nativity.

The latter turned out to be a collegiate church from the 15th to the 17th century and benefited at that time from the protection from the archbishops of Strasbourg, who had made out of Saverne their temporary capital.

Nowadays it represents the principal sanctuary of the Saverner Catholic Community. It combines sumptuously Romanic and Gothic style marked out by a Norman belfry attached to a nave and a luminous choir dating from the 14th century.
