The Deutsches Weintor, built in 1936, bears the marks of Nazi spatial and cultural policy. Directly in its line of sight stands the French Geisberg Memorial, dedicated to the 1870 war. With *Horizon/t*, Arthur Schuman offers a Franco-German spatial analysis of these two structures. The exhibition explores the disconnect between what we see, what we know, and what architecture continues to convey. A bilingual performance reading, followed by a sketching walk between the Weintor and the Geisberg, will precede the opening.
