Citizenship: If I Were... and Image Analysis

Two workshops and interactive, fun tools developed by members of the Alsace Development Council, a citizen participation body of the European Collectivity of Alsace. They were designed in partnership with the Collectivité’s departments following initial discussions on rebuilding the connection between “citizens and elected officials.” Choose from two participatory and immersive workshops to either: take on different roles (citizens, elected officials, journalists, etc.) and simulate the mechanisms of public policy—including the challenges and constraints that may arise—to decide on a course of action and justify or explain it; or analyze images or information about a fictional project related to a public policy or event. These engaging activities spark curiosity, inform participants, and help generate solutions today for tomorrow.
