Hiking tour between Wissembourg Rott and Weiler

Start from Wissembourg, on the edge of the town centre. Begin with a tour of part of the town and continue along the River Lauter and Wissembourg’s southern ramparts. Once you’ve left the town, head up towards the wine-growing village of Rott, then cross the vineyard and stop at the viewpoint overlooking the Alsace plain. Continue through the forest around the Scherhol to reach the village of Weiler, and climb the hillside running alongside the German border to return to the starting point.
