Heimbach Spring hiking tour

During this 15 km hike, discover the mysterious heritage steeped in history around Kappelstein. The trail crosses a bucolic landscape dotted with ancient cup-marked stones and the remains of a Celtic enclosure. The highlight of the route is the Kappelstein observatory, which recalls a significant episode in the war. It was attacked and blown up by a German commando unit in May 1940.
