Commune de Walbourg

Named after the Abbey Church of Sainte-Walburge located in the heart of the village, Walbourg is located near the “Forêt Sainte” (Holy Forest), north of the Haguenau metropolitan area. Its abbey church is known for its remarkable collection of stained glass windows dating from the 15th century. The village also bears witness to the region's rich historical past with the Walbourg 1870-1945 Memorial Museum. The museum houses more than 3,500 objects and testimonies from northern Alsace.
