Christmas market

For the 2026 edition, the Christmas market is expanding and will stretch from the Casino Park to the Place du Bureau Central, offering a magical stroll through the heart of the city. In the wooden chalets, nearly 60 artisans will take turns throughout Advent to showcase their creations, Christmas decorations, gift ideas, and gourmet specialties, with new items to discover every week.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of free activities: concerts, performances, street performances, cozy dining around fire pits, illuminations in the park and on the majestic sequoia tree, not to mention Santa’s house, the carved nativity scene, and the enchanting elf trail. The shops in Niederbronn-les-Bains will also open their doors on all four Sundays of Advent to extend the magic of the holiday season.

The big new feature of this year’s event will undoubtedly be Santa’s spectacular flying sleigh, which will make an appearance during the first two weekends of Advent. Pulled by his reindeer, it will soar through the town before stopping to greet the crowd and share a moment of wonder. As night falls, its sparkling lights will offer a spectacle that is as impressive as it is unforgettable. On the last two weekends, Santa Claus will welcome children into his house to continue the tradition.

Food lovers won’t be left out, with an expanded food and beverage selection available throughout the event: mulled wine, hot drinks, sweet treats, and savory specialties to enjoy in a cozy atmosphere around the fire pits.
