Ruins of castle Hohenstein

Of this 13th century castle built on a rock by the Hohenstein family, only the keep that protected the dwelling in enfilade and an enclosure flanked by a semi-circular bastion remain. In 1338, Bishop Berthold de Bucheck seized the castle and destroyed it.
