Continue straight on to the crossroads, where you will see the road below; the path is still marked with a blue upright cross. Don’t head down to the road, but continue straight on for a further 200 metres, then take the path on your left, which leads to the road; walk along the road for about 100 metres. Cross (carefully!) and take the rural path which will take you to the wayside cross. The path is uphill for about 150 metres, but is not particularly difficult. There is a panoramic view from the wayside cross. Carry straight on for a further 400 metres to a small crossroads, where you will be able to admire the Alsatian plain. Take the uphill path on your left towards the look-out point. Carry straight on as far as the small crossroads. Take the path on your right, then carry straight on. Turn left at the crossroads, following the blue upright cross markers to the Schiebenberg statue of the Virgin Mary, where there is a wonderful panoramic view. There are benches here for you to rest and admire the scenery.
