Starting from the car park at the grape harvest collection point, take the road out of Dorlisheim heading towards the vineyards. This will take you through the picturesque Thal valley, where the traditional valley floor landscape bordering the vineyards has been preserved.

It features orchards, small areas of food crops, and meadows.
Follow the wine path, and find out about the different varieties of grape and the patient work of the winegrowers. The panoramic view is beautiful.

























In the forest

At the end of the wine path, take the shaded path in the wood, and enjoy the cool smells of the undergrowth.
As you come out of the wood, follow the red upright cross markers as far as the wayside cross. 
























Dry chalk grassland

Continue on towards the dry chalk grassland, preserved by the Conservatoire des Sites Alsaciens. You will find a much greater variety of plants here than on the richer grassland.























Rangerberg

After the next wayside cross the path returns to the vineyard, on the Rangenberg slope. In spring, on the dry grassland part of the slope, you can admire seven different types of orchid, all carefully looked after. Return to the grape harvest collection point.
