Description Prices

On the southern side of the church are five sundials (ca. 1750). Four of them are engraved on the buttresses visible from the South and the fifth one sits on the window sill of the southern tower, on the fourth floor.

The first sundial is on the very first pillar, at about 1,7 m (5.6 ft) from the ground and measures 52 x 41,5 cm (20.5" x 16.3"). It faces Southeast. Its hour-lines are very thin and only go from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. (in Arabic numerals).

The second sundial is on a small buttress, on the West side. It was finely traced on a 58 x 42 cm (22.8" x 16.5") plate, at 1,6 m (5.2 ft) from the floor. Its hour-lines are barely visible and its style is missing.

The third sundial is on the second-to-last pillar before the tower, 95 cm (3 ft) from the ground and facing West too. Its plate measures 66 x 40 cm (26" x 15.7"). Its style is gone as well.

On the fourth tower window, facing South, an engraved horizontal sundial from 1727 is displayed on a coping.
