Institut des Aveugles

Built on the site of the medieval castle, this house was bought by the bishop in 1889 and later became a rehabilitation centre for young boys. Here, in 1895, the Sisters of the Holy Cross opened the Episcopal St. Odile School.




Today, the building has been converted into an institute for the blind and mentally challenged.




The items crafted by the children are on display and for sale.
