Description

Episode 38 - In this new episode, follow Pierre Grandadam to La Grande Basse, where the forest tells a story of transmission. Once pastureland, the land was afforested as early as the 19th century, then replanted thirty years ago. Today, between spruces, oaks, cedars and wild cherries, diversity is gradually taking hold to better face climatic challenges. Patient maintenance, thinning after thinning, is part of a long-term approach: what you plant, you won't harvest yourself, but for future generations. Between family memory and passion for the world's forests, the echo is the same: a living heritage to be protected, so that tomorrow's walkers and inhabitants will still find peace and happiness here.
