The hamlet of Fréconrupt

At the crossroads, leave the Mennonite trail and turn right, following the markings for 2 km, until you get to the village of Fréconrupt (follow the tarmac road). Continue for 500 m straight ahead through the hamlet.

i The names Fréconrupt, Ranrupt and Fonrupt come from the Vosges dialect (Latin dialect). The final "pt" is not pronounced, so we say "Fréconru", "Ranru" and "Fonru".
