To the Giant Sequoia of Kappelbronn

From Place des Musiciens, take the forest road marked- (barrier and sign marked "Réservé aux piétons"). After 350 m, follow the path to the left markedfor 2 km before arriving near the Giant Sequoia of Kappelbronn (picnic area).

This giant sequoia (56 m high - 7 m in circumference) was planted in 1896 by a forest ranger in memory of his son, who had died of diphtheria at the age of four.
