i Natzwiller, once called Saint-Ludel (the village's patron saint) stands on the right bank of the Rothaine. Historically, the village is Catholic and is part of the diocese of Strasbourg. So, it is not part of the same area as Neuviller-La-Roche (although it is just opposite), since Neuviller is a Protestant village in the Ban de la Roche. Another difference with Natzwiller is that you are more likely to hear Alsatian spoken, while in Neuviller-la-Roche a local dialect of Latin origin is more common.
