The sound-and-light show Once Upon a Night returns to the cloister of the Unterlinden Museum from November 25, 2026, to January 3, 2027, with an all-new production.

As night falls, step through the museum’s doors and let yourself be swept away by an immersive experience at the heart of its collections.

For 10 minutes, the cloister’s architecture comes alive, and the museum’s iconic works take on new life through colorful and dynamic projections. It’s an original and surprising way to (re)discover the Unterlinden Museum and its heritage.

Whether with family, as a couple, or with friends, come experience Once Upon a Night and gain a fresh perspective on the museum’s collections!

Museum access begins at 4:00 p.m. The show, which lasts approximately 10 minutes, runs from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with showtimes every 15 minutes. The museum closes at 7:00 p.m.

Your ticket is valid for all showtimes on the selected day, as well as for access to the entire museum. For the final showing at 6:30 p.m., we recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before the show begins so you can enjoy the experience in its entirety.
