William Shakespeare... a genius playwright, poet, and pillar of world literature. But do you really know his work?
Three actors take on a completely crazy challenge: to run through all 37 of his plays in 80 minutes! They’ll prove to you that there’s nothing insurmountable in *Hamlet*, that the War of the Roses and all the historical plays can be summed up perfectly by a rugby match, and that *Kitchen Nightmares* or Quentin Tarantino have absolutely nothing to envy in classical tragedy.
With sports allegories, Brassens-style songs, parodies of current events, and touches of Commedia dell’arte, the On the Boat theater company delivers a nonstop barrage of soliloquies and costume changes at a breakneck pace.
Say “No” to the classic, dusty, self-important Shakespeare, but “Yes” to the visionary, down-to-earth Shakespeare who loves local beer and is accessible to everyone! We may not do him justice, but at least we’ll give it a shot!
