For the fifteenth edition of NOËL BLEU, the Dominicans of Upper Alsace join forces with the town of Guebwiller. The Dominican monastery is now an unmissable venue for the end-of-year celebrations: Just a few steps from the main street, this listed stronghold of Rhenish cultural heritage can be visited: In the nave, you can discover a monumental projection and an immersive installation around the emblematic ceramist of Guebwiller, Théodore Deck in a 360° projection room. To please the young and the old alike, there will be a sound and light installation in the cloister, decorated for Christmas.Christmas cannot be complete without Alsatian delicacies bredala and mulled wine which will be served upon arrival for a convivial "Guinguette de Noël"!
The building is open (free admission), and audio guides in seven languages are available for visitors who want to discover the history of the monastery. Digital installations are accessible in several rooms along the tour.
Guest star of the weekend of 16 and 17 December: our favourite aunt, Tante Françoise, sings us a Christmas carol for convivial holidays.
