Concert: From Mary to All Women

The figure of Mary has accompanied humanity for centuries. She is also a universal symbol that speaks to the heart of every woman.

The Ensemble Vocal du Pays de Thann (conducted by Michèle HUSS) invites the audience to join it on a musical journey in several stages, in which secular works evoking the feelings aroused or experienced by every woman echo sacred compositions dedicated to Mary. Works by Pergolesi, Durante, Purcell, Lauridsen, and others will illustrate this musical—and emotional—journey, leading the audience toward light and peace.

The choir is accompanied by Benoît Ruthmann, organist and pianist.
