"Les Trois Coups" Festival - The Old Lady's Visit

After years away, the wealthy Claire Zahanassian returns to Güllen, her hometown. She offers the small, dilapidated town and its impoverished residents one billion in exchange for the life of one of its residents, for a crime committed forty-five years earlier. Stunned silence sets in, but so do doubts. In this dark comedy, will the exhausted community choose to let humanist ideals prevail? Will it be able to resist the alluring scent of money?
