Concert Cock ROBIN

The Casino Barrière in Ribeauvillé invites you to enjoy a concert by Cock Robin.
Peter Kingsbery grew up in Austin, Texas, where he studied classical music. He then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he began his career as a musician and songwriter. In the early 1970s, he served as keyboardist for Brenda Lee, with whom he toured the U.S. and Japan.

In 1982, Peter Kingsbery formed the band Cock Robin. Their self-titled album was released in 1985. He went on to achieve two more platinum albums with the band, thanks to his superb voice and keen sense of composition and arrangement. Six tracks reached the Top 50. The band disbanded, and Peter Kingsbery embarked on a solo career.

In 2006, the band Cock Robin reunited and released “I Don’t Want to Save the World,” followed in 2010 by “Song From a Bell Tower.” They received excellent press reviews, and their live performances were equally impressive, notably at the Bataclan and the Olympia in 2011.
