What happens when insects disappear?

Since the 1990s, insect biomass has plummeted. Through testimonies from scientists and a behind-the-scenes look at the agrochemical industry, *Insecticide* investigates the effects of pesticides and the mechanisms surrounding their use.

Following the screening, there will be a discussion with the SDEA to explore issues relating to biodiversity, water, agriculture and food.

The Municipality of Kintzheim and the SDEA are organising this film screening and discussion as part of the Territorial Food Project – PAT Central Alsace. It is coordinated by the PETR Sélestat Central Alsace in partnership with the Maison de la nature du Ried et de l’Alsace centrale, with the aim of developing a food system that is accessible, sustainable, healthy, locally sourced and profitable for producers.
