Immersive theater. By the Logos Company.
Seated as close as possible to the performers thanks to a three-sided stage setup, the audience doesn’t just witness the story—it becomes an active participant. This physical proximity creates a rare sense of immersion, placing each audience member at the heart of the action and the dilemmas facing the characters.
In turn acting as an accomplice, an activist, a juror, or a simple neighbor, everyone is invited to take part in this fictionalized story loosely based on the epic tale of the Night Workers. The boundary between the stage and the auditorium blurs, drawing the audience into the choices, risks, and ideals that drive these figures of Belle Époque anarchism.
Much like in Buster Keaton’s *Sherlock Jr.* or Arnold Schwarzenegger’s *Last Action Hero*, where the viewer finds themselves swept up in the fiction, we accompany Alexandre Marius Jacob and his comrades as they build a network of militant burglaries. Together, they steal from the powerful to redistribute to the most destitute, challenging along the way our relationship to justice, property, political activism, and collective action.
In this original play commissioned from Auriane Abécassis by director Morgane Deman, four performers bring to life the extraordinary story of Alexandre Marius Jacob—an anarchist, thief, and source of inspiration for many fictional characters. A vibrant, socially conscious, and deeply human epic, whose power lies as much in its narrative as in the direct connection it forges with the audience.
