Church Concert: The Choristers

Founded in 1986 by Nicolas Porte, who still directs it, the Maîtrise Saint-Marc—formerly known as the Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc—is a Lyon institution recognized as one of the finest children’s choirs. Festivals, international tours, and recordings have built its reputation. In particular, the choir lent its voice and soul to the film *Les Choristes*, which has become a symbol of shared emotion. Its sensitive and authentic performance touched millions of viewers and continues to inspire artists to discover choral singing.
