In partnership with the Générations Playmo Elsass association and the town hall of Soultz-sous-Forêts, this 18-square-meter diorama was created especially for “Noël en Outre-Forêt” by Audrey and Aurélien LEMBRÉ and J. Marc KOENIG, inspired by historical events. A little over 2,000 years ago, in a cave near Bethlehem—a small village in Judea not far from Jerusalem—a child named Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) was born. His life and teachings would upend established beliefs and shape numerous civilizations. The Playmobil display playfully depicts moments from life during that era. The buildings and scenery are inspired by the accounts that have been passed down to us.
