2-Day Hike in the Foothills: From the Ingwiller Train Station to the Saverne Train Station

This station-to-station route takes you along the trails at the foot of the Northern Vosges between Ingwiller and Saverne. Several iconic sites await you: the unusual Buddhist monastery in Weiterswiller, the 1,300-year-old Abbey Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Neuwiller-lès-Saverne, the fortified refuge in Dossenheim-sur-Zinsel, the ruins of Warthenberg Castle, the “Mont St-Michel” of Alsace, and finally the “little Versailles of Alsace”: the Rohan Palace in Saverne.
