"Wihnàchtszitt" Show: An Evening Immersed in Tradition

Wihnàchtszitt, an evening celebration at the heart of Alsatian traditions

The Pays de Hanau Folk Group of Bouxwiller invites you on a journey through tales, customs, and Christmas carols. Presented in French and Alsatian, this evening features four scenes inspired by Advent traditions: Christmas for the less fortunate, baking bredle, the mysterious nights of the Poppelnacht, decorating the Christmas tree, and the arrival of the Christkindel and Hans Trapp. The evening continues with music, featuring Christmas carols sung together with the audience.

Hot apple juice and mulled wine will be served after the event.
