Media Library - Espace Liberté

The Espace Liberté multimedia library is a place of discovery, exchange and conviviality, offering free access to public reading, knowledge and cultural leisure activities.


You'll find almost 20,000 written works (novels, magazines, CD books, documentaries, comics, albums...) as well as multimedia documents (DVDs, video games...).


On-site consultation is free for all. Only borrowing documents requires an annual subscription.


As part of the town's cultural program, the media library hosts numerous exhibitions, and regularly offers shows and creative leisure workshops.




The Micro-Folie is an artistic and cultural education tool based on digital technology: making accessible thousands of major works of art found in major national museums such as the Louvre, a little like an art gallery, but much more interactive, with animations, games, workshops and encounters. Fine art, architecture, dance, opera, circus... an exceptional choice of themes to explore through activities such as "How do you read a work?" or "1 work in 30 minutes", and workshops such as "Make your coat of arms", "The royal herbarium", as well as more specific themes such as "Animals in art" or "The representation of fear". The workshops are led by cultural service staff, the youth worker and, occasionally, outside contributors.
Virtual reality headsets will take you on a journey to ancient Greece and Egypt. You can also enter some of the world's masterpieces, and see characters such as the Mona Lisa come to life, thanks to content provided by ARTE.
Last but not least, the Micro-Folie also features a Fab lab, where you can learn how to use digital tools such as 3D printers, cutting plotters, thermoforming machines, heat presses, coding/robotics kits and more...
