BotaRied – Botanical Trail

Discover BotaRied, the first free interactive digital trail in the Grand Ried region of central Alsace, open all year round (closed in the event of flooding). 

Your mission: to find Hockemann, the legendary figure of the Ried!
With family or friends, set off along the BotaRied trail and follow the clues to solve the puzzles. As you progress through the eight stages, take a close look at the landscapes, plants and animals that make this area so rich and diverse.

How to go about the investigation?
With a smartphone:
Download the Baludik app and scan the QR code. Your smartphone will be your guide throughout the trail. To get the most out of the experience, make sure your phone is fully charged.

Without a smartphone:
Use our discovery booklet, which you can pick up at the town hall, the Maison de la Nature or at www.maisonnaturemutt.org. Keep your eyes peeled and use your logic to unravel the mystery of the Hockemann’s disappearance.
