Workshop for teenagers and adults: Painting Music – When the Arts Engage in Dialogue
Throughout history, the various art forms have maintained close and fruitful links. Over the centuries, musicians, painters, poets and artists have drawn inspiration from one another, giving rise to works in which sounds are transformed into images and colours seem to resonate like a melody.
This workshop invites you to explore these subtle connections between music and painting. As you listen to a variety of musical works, you will be encouraged to embrace your emotions, sensations and imagination, and then give them visual form through colour, texture and movement.
With step-by-step guidance, everyone will be able to freely experiment with transforming sound into visuals, movement into images, and musical flow into pictorial creation. This is an opportunity to discover these two artistic languages in a new light and to enjoy a creative experience inspired by great works from the history of art.
No prior knowledge of music or painting is required: all that matters is the desire to explore and create.
