Description

The most important building in the village is Saint Louis’ church (1770) which is a fine example of the Neo-Classical style of the 18th
century. A lovely sundial adorns the southern façade, whilst the building’s choir contains a high altar representing Louis IX (Saint Louis), King
of France and the church’s patron. At the crossroads stands a magnificent wayside cross (1718) erected on the initiative of two women,
representing Christ on the cross surrounded by the Virgin Mary and Saint John. A well (18th century) stands out for its massive coping, sheltered by a roof covered in Biberschwanz tiles.
