Initially a folk ensemble of around fifteen musicians, this orchestra has developed well under the leadership of Frédéric Schalk. Today, it counts some 35 musicians, aged from 14 to 80. It's a fine example of an intergenerational association. While the program focuses on Alsatian "Bloosmusik" and Central European "Blasmusik", it is also highly eclectic, featuring film music, musicals and duet singing, one of the ensemble's most popular features. You'll be amazed by the diversity of timbres of the woodwinds, brass and percussion, enhanced by some superb jokes.
