When you come aboard the Oûz Trio, you'll hear the plaintive blues of the various saxophones, the biting play of the drums and the electric mood of the bass. There's nothing like a nonchalant stroll to get you back on your feet before speeding off into a bric-a-brac of sounds. If you don't forget to look out the windows, you'll undoubtedly capture moments stolen from a summer ball or a witching ritual. As you escape from arid lands sparse with colorful cacti, you'll plunge into the city's teeming rhythm. Oûz Trio offers a repertoire of original compositions rooted in a straight ahead jazz tradition. The choice of instrumentation highlights the imaginary nature of each piece: unusual sopranino and baritone saxophones rub shoulders with the familiar soprano, alto and tenor.
