Introduction to shadow theatre and sound mixing: Children's workshop
Over the course of an afternoon, participants will illustrate a Somali tale using various shadow theatre techniques. They will bring characters and scenery to life, which will be projected onto a large screen.
The sound mixing, also carried out by budding sound engineers, will be synchronised with the narration and shadow making, resulting in a public performance open to all at the end of the workshop.
For children aged 8 and above.
