slowUp Alsace: a festive, car-free day in the heart of the vineyards
For one day, the roads are closed to cars and open to freedom. On foot, by bike or on rollerblades, discover the Alsatian countryside between Sélestat, Châtenois and Bergheim, in the heart of the Wine Route. On a safe, traffic-free route, choose your itinerary - from 7 to 38¿km - and let yourself be carried away, at the foot of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, through picturesque villages and breathtaking panoramas.
Along the way, festive events, tastings, gourmet stops and live music punctuate your escapade. There are also fun activities just for kids.
Come dressed all in white, in honour of the Alsatian grape varieties, and enjoy a moment of conviviality and sharing, between nature, heritage and simple pleasures.

- Easy access by train (Strasbourg - Sélestat): bike reservation required (free)
- Bike hire available in Sélestat, Bergheim and Châtenois (booking strongly recommended)
- Free event, no registration required
