Meet the chamois

Envy of an extraordinary experience in the heart of nature? Set off to meet chamois in the wild and peaceful landscapes of the Vosges massif, on the heights of Lac Blanc.

This year's chamois outings take place at the end of the day: you'll be guided by Mathieu, a mountain lover who knows the area like the back of his hand. Together, you'll take to the trails along the Lac Blanc ridges, where chamois roam free, often visible in the quiet of the early morning.

This easy family-friendly walk (5 km - 150 m ascent) is accessible from age 8 and requires only a good pair of walking shoes, and discretion. It's the perfect opportunity to learn how to observe chamois while enjoying the beauty of the landscape. Along the way, Mathieu will share his knowledge of the chamois' lifestyle, habits and history
