Halloween at Lichtenberg Castle

Lichtenberg Castle's special Halloween program offers mysterious adventures for the whole family, with daily entertainment every afternoon during the All Saints' Day school vacations.

Wander independently through the life-size setting of a haunted castle steeped in legends and stories: traverse the cemetery, explore the dark chapel or venture into the mysterious casemates. Every afternoon, a different haunted activity awaits you: film screening, make-up workshop, spooky coat-of-arms creation, guided tour of tales and legends, escape game and much more! This event is open to children and families aged 4 and over (except for the spooky evening).

Opening night and never-before-seen sound and light show
On Saturday, October 19 from 6pm to 11pm, don't miss the opening night to kick off the festivities. Immerse yourself and your family in the magic of Halloween, with a brand-new fireworks light and sound show entitled "In the footsteps of the magic of the ancients", combining poetry, fiery juggling and spellbinding choreography. In addition to the show, enjoy a screening of Tim Burton's animated film "The Funeral Wedding", or take part in the immersive secret identity game "Van Helsing versus Dracula".

Scary evening and "Völva"
From 6-11pm on Saturday November 2, get ready to face your fears at the scary evening. Ghosts, zombies and other eerie creatures have invaded the premises, ready to chill your blood. Will you be able to keep your cool as you explore the dark corners of the castle, where terrifying characters stroll about and pop up at any moment?
This immersive evening will be highlighted by the shamanic show "Völva". A Viking ritual combining ancestral legends and spectacular fire juggling, it will plunge you into the mystical universe of Viking shaman women known as "Völva". For the more courageous, don't miss the screening of the horror film "Overlord". A make-up workshop will also be available to perfect your transformation into a terrifying creature.
