This day-long event, organised in partnership with Alsace Destination Tourisme, the Route des Châteaux d'Alsace and the associations Châteaux forts vivants and Châteaux forts d'Alsace, aims to raise awareness of the Châteaux Forts of Alsace and their unique features.
On the programme:
- Guided tours in French and German;
- 11.30 am: Aperitif concert with music from Ottrott in front of the Lutzelbourg (good weather essential);
- 11.30 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm: medieval fights
- Meals: The Confrérie de la Corne offers its famous sanglier à la broque(reservation required);
- The knitters of Ottrott offer their "blason de Rathsamhausen";
- Crossbow shooting
- Searching for water with chopsticks
- Understanding archaeology
- Buvette des amis des châteaux d'Ottrott to quench your thirst!
Come one, come all! The volunteers need your help and support to make the site more attractive and to save the Ottrott castles!
