In Gertwiller, the land of the Klevener de Heiligenstein, Maison Zeyssolff has created a "wine area" in the old cellar. This original, cultural and playful place presents objects from the past through a contemporary decoration, where scenography, tasting, shop and dining bar are combined.
Following the estate's complete organic conversion and the renovation of the cellar in the summer of 2020, a new scenographic space has been opened in the cellar with its hundred-year-old tuns. It is an immersive experience with 180° video projected directly onto the barrels and sound work, a film about the rather rich family history, and the working philosophy. One of the barrels was made in 1897 for the Paris World Fair.
